I've been a webmaster for seven years now, and I've started over 50 websites. Some of them have been wonderfully sucessful, and some of them are lying in the virtual trash heap. The best part about the Internet is that you can pick yourself up and dust yourself off relatively cheaply, making the old saw, "practice makes perfect," for me at least, the unofficial Internet motto.

In those seven years I've tasted deeply of the web hosting waters here and there in search of quality hosting. Let me tell you, my first host -- yeesh. I wonder how I ever found them. I can tell you actually - I clicked an ad for them. To this day their mention makes me break out in hives.

That's the problem with the Internet - you can't really tell an ad for a good company from an ad for a bad one. That's where we hope to come in. By offering our experience and critical insights, we hope we can save you a portion at least of the pain we went through to get wehere we are today.

The idea is to provide for you the service we wish we had so long ago: money-, time-, and suffering-saving reviews and information so that you can skip the research and get on with setting up your site.  Knowledge is power, as they say, and power in our experience saves time and money.

And what's with the name? Well, it's kinda catchy, isn't it?
